The School of Health Sciences (SHS) was founded in 1983 and is based in Patras. It is one of the seven Schools of the University of Patras and consists of two Departments:
Through the modern undergraduate and postgraduate study programs, as well as the research activities of the teaching and research staff, we offer our students internationally recognized studies and strengthen the prestige of the University of Patras.

The University was founded in November 1964 and is a nationally and internationally distinguished and renowned Institution of Higher Education, thanks to its diverse and innovative activity in the fields of both the natural sciences, engineering and health sciences as well as the humanities, social and economic sciences.
Its geographical position allows its contact with a rich natural environment and its multifaceted contribution to the flourishing of the wider area. Departments of the University are located in Patras, Messolonghi and Agrinio.
