Dear Students,

Welcome to the School of Economics & Business Administration of University of Patras  and to an exciting new academic year!  Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning to continue your journey, I am thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant and diverse community.

Universities are places of meeting, exchange of ideas, opinions and osmosis. However, the significant changes taking place in the field of education and the new challenges that appear, require the adaptation of Universities to the new reality. The aim of the School of Economics & Business Administration is to offer all the necessary resources for the progress of students at an academic and professional level in the existing framework.

The School of Economics & Business Administration is one of the seven Schools of the University of Patras and consists of four individual Departments: Economics, Business Administration, Tourism Management and Management Science & Technology, which through modern undergraduate and postgraduate study programs, as well as the research activities of their teaching and research staff, contribute to the international recognition of your studies and our University.

The curricula of the Departments of the School are fully harmonized with European standards, follow modern trends and include core courses that provide the basic background of the scientific subject and elective courses, per department, that allow students to adapt their studies based on their preferences and future goals, offering guidance as appropriate. They are reviewed at regular intervals with the aim of further improving their quality and attractiveness and providing all the necessary academic resources to students in order to smoothly integrate into the labor market or pursue a career in academia.

The academic and research staff of the School has a decisive contribution to ensuring the quality of studies. The professors of the School conduct high-level research with international impact and aim at extroversion and utilization of the results of the knowledge produced. At the same time, with their research work, they attract funding at the National-European level, which they offer to second-cycle students. Finally, the operation of Postgraduate Programs and laboratories creates additional value in our School.

This is a time of new beginnings, endless possibilities, and opportunities to learn, grow, and make meaningful connections.
